Position Summary and Qualifications:
This is a 2-year post-graduate training program providing advanced skill training in medical affairs.
This fellowship prepares individuals to pursue a career in the pharmaceutical industry.
Weekly responsibilities are split between Saint Joseph's University (20%) and Sun Pharma (80%).
The fellow will successfully complete projects related to industry, the fellowship program, and teaching responsibilities.
It is expected that as the fellow progresses through the program, the individual will be able to practice with increasing levels of independence.

Industry-Based Responsibilities:
Medical Affairs Foundations (Year One):
Build foundational Medical Affairs competencies across specialty therapeutic areas
Gain exposure to the full product lifecycle and corporate scientific environment
Rotate through 3-4 core Medical Affairs functions:
Medical Strategy & Planning - support annual medical plans, situational analyses, and evidence gap assessments
Medical Information & Scientific Communications - develop scientific response documents and address unsolicited HCP inquiries
Medical, Legal & Regulatory (MLR) Review - participate in review of promotional and non-promotional materials for scientific accuracy and compliance
Field Medical - shadow MSLs, observe KOL interactions, learn insight generation, CRM systems, and field strategy
Focus on learning, observation, and supporting tactical execution
Develop understanding of study protocols, compliance processes, and scientific communication
Advanced Therapeutic Specialization (Year Two):
