Pay range: $56$60/hr.
This position supports the Utilization Management (UM) workflows by providing administrative support and customer service. This position acts as a resource for both internal and external customers through completing timely and accurate inbound and/or outbound calls, creating authorizations via phone, Care Advance Provider Tool, and fax for inpatient and outpatient procedures, behavioral health, and durable medical equipment.
Please Read: This role can be worked remotely, but candidates must be currently residing in Massachusetts to be considered.
Roles and Responsibilities:- Provide a variety of reception services for clients, patients, and visitors
- Maintaining a customer service attitude to ensure patient satisfaction
- Schedule appointments for client/patient care including all follow-up appointments
- Generate patient referrals to medical specialists as ordered
- Assist patients with identifying appropriate pharmaceutical industry patient assistance programs for medications.
Qualifications:- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required
- At least 2 years of experience working in a pharmacy
- Must be currently residing in Massachusetts
- Proficiency in handling sensitive and confidential information with tact, professionalism, and impartiality.
- Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities
