PHARMACIST | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Spokane Valley WA 99216 – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $65.75/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | 2 Schedules Available
- Option 1: Wednesday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM, and Saturday, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Option 2: Sunday, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM, and Monday–Tuesday, 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Candidates seeking a 40-hour workweek may be accommodated with an adjusted schedule.
PHARMACIST | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of prescription medications while providing patient counseling, monitoring medication therapy, and maintaining compliance with pharmacy regulations. The pharmacist also collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams, supervises pharmacy staff, manages inventory, and helps optimize patient care through medication management and education.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Job Responsibilities
PHARMACIST | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accurately dispense prescription medications in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Review medication orders for safety, accuracy, and appropriateness.
- Counsel patients on prescription and over-the-counter medications, including dosage, side effects, storage, and drug interactions.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
- Identify medication-related concerns and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to resolve them.
- Compound medications and prepare sterile products as needed.
- Educate patients on the proper use of medical devices, including blood pressure monitors and glucose meters.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and other pharmacy support staff.
- Maintain pharmaceutical inventory and ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards.

Qualifications
PHARMACIST | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required.
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- Active Pharmacist license issued by the Washington State Board of Pharmacy required.
- Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and patient counseling skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.
