Overview Responsibilities Ensures and provides patient care that optimizes medication therapy and promotes health, wellness and disease prevention. Facilitates the development, implementation and maintenance of complex, in-depth clinical services that promote desirable patient outcomes through the use of safe, cost-effective drug therapies. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Pharm D. from a college of Pharmacy Working knowledge of drug therapy and disease state management Licensure, Registration, Certification Current license/eligibility by the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy (ALBoP) Parenteral license/eligible Board certification or eligibility to obtain certification within 1 year Permanent licenses will be required within six months of placement into position Desired Qualifications: Completion of a PGY1 or PGY2 specialty residency in Emergency Medicine or Critical Care Licensure, Registration, Certification: Added qualifications or certifications in area of specialty
