Job Title: PharmacistLocation: Plantation FL 33324, Deerfield Beach FL 33441, Boca Raton FL 33434, Delray Beach FL 33484Duration: 03+ months (possible extension)Job Description: - The Pharmacist compounds and dispenses medications and other pharmaceuticals.
- Works on assignments involving moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- The Pharmacist prepares and maintains all necessary records on prescriptions, patient charges and inventory.
- Provides information to the staff members on drugs and pharmaceuticals.
- Directly interacts with the patients. Begins to influence department’s strategy.
- Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction.
- Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Additional duties: - Covering when pharmacist is out or will provide the pharmacist extra support due to workload
- Filling and verifying prescriptions
- Seeing and counseling patients
- Working with providers within the clinic
- Working with Pharmacy Technician
- Able to lift and move up to 15lbs.
Required Qualifications: - Bachelors of Pharmacy or PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Licensed as a PHARMACIST in state(s) of practice
- Ability to participate in Federal prescription programs
- Self-directed, but also able to work well in a group
- Ability to solve problems and encourage others in collaborative problem solving
- Work ethic that is focused, accurate, and highly productive
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient with computers
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications: - 3 or more years experience.
