    Staff Pharmacist (Floater)

As a Staff Pharmacist (Floater), you'll provide safe, high-quality pharmaceutical care while traveling between our pharmacy locations to support patient needs.

    What You'll Do

    • Accurately review and dispense medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.
    • Evaluate medication therapy for safety, effectiveness, interactions, and appropriate dosing.
    • Counsel patients on medications and disease management.
    • Collaborate with providers to optimize patient care and recommend evidence-based treatment options.
    • Supervise and support Pharmacy Technicians and pharmacy support staff.
    • Maintain medication records, inventory, regulatory compliance, and quality standards.
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff education.
    • Assist with pharmacy operations and provide leadership support in the Pharmacy Director's absence.

    Qualifications

    Required

    • Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a B.S. or PharmD degree.
    • Current, active Arizona Pharmacist license.
    • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient counseling skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
    • Willingness to travel between Sun Life Health pharmacy locations.

    Preferred

    • Experience in community, ambulatory care, retail, hospital, or FQHC pharmacy.
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
    • Immunization certification.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

    • Experience as a Pharmacist in a similar setting preferred.
    • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a B.S. or PharmD degree.
    • Current State Board of Pharmacy Arizona License
