Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to support safe, accurate, and compliant medication dispensing while delivering exceptional service to patients and healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will be clinically focused, detail-oriented, and passionate about improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
• Dispense medications in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Counsel patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Monitor patient therapies and provide clinical recommendations when appropriate
• Maintain accurate records and ensure regulatory compliance
• Support quality assurance and medication safety initiatives
• Contribute to a patient-centered and team-oriented work environment

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist license in California
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) preferred
• Current knowledge of pharmacy regulations and best practices
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous retail, specialty, hospital, or mail-order pharmacy experience
• Experience working with electronic pharmacy systems
• Immunization certification (if applicable)

This is a Contract position based out of Fresno, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
