    Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Pharmacist role based in Glendale, AZ. The Pharmacist will verify and dispense prescriptions, review medication orders for accuracy and safety, and counsel patients on proper medication use, side effects, and interactions. Daily responsibilities include overseeing pharmacy technicians, maintaining accurate records, managing inventory and drug storage, and ensuring compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations. The Pharmacist will collaborate with prescribers and other healthcare professionals to resolve medication-related issues and support optimal patient care. The role also involves contributing to quality assurance initiatives and promoting a positive, inclusive experience for all patients.

    Qualifications

    • \n
    • Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Arizona, in good standing
    • \n
    • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
    • \n
    • Strong clinical knowledge of prescription and over-the-counter medications, including dosing, interactions, and contraindications
    • \n
    • ability to provide vaccinations
    • \n
    • Demonstrated ability to provide clear, empathetic patient counseling and education
    • \n
    • Experience with pharmacy management systems, prescription processing, and accurate record-keeping
    • \n
    • Commitment to regulatory compliance, medication safety standards, and privacy requirements (e.g., HIPAA)
    • \n
    • Ability to work collaboratively with pharmacy technicians, prescribers, and other healthcare professionals
    • \n
    • Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and reliability in a fast-paced environment
    • \n
    • Comfort serving a diverse patient population and maintaining a respectful, inclusive atmosphere
    • \n
    • Previous retail or community pharmacy experience preferred
