Pharmacist I

We are seeking a Pharmacist I for a locum assignment at the Blackfeet Service Unit. The pharmacist will support pharmacy operations in accordance with federal, clinical, and organizational standards, ensuring safe, accurate, and timely dispensing of medications and pharmaceutical care services.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and safely
• Review prescriptions for appropriateness, dosage, and interactions
• Provide patient counseling on medication use and side effects
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and service unit policies
• Support inventory control and medication management
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and clinical staff
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation

Requirements

• Active Pharmacist license (state-specific eligibility required)
• Experience in clinical or hospital pharmacy preferred
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology and medication safety
• Ability to work in a high-compliance healthcare environment
• Experience in federal or service unit healthcare settings is a plus
