Job Title: Pharmacist I
Job Description
As a Pharmacist I, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications. Your expertise will be utilized in reviewing prescriptions for accuracy, determining necessary formulas and ingredients, and providing essential information to customers regarding drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage. You will also be responsible for maintaining quality assurance procedures, securing controlled substances, and managing hazardous waste disposal.

Work Environment
This position is located in a distribution area, requiring candidates to be comfortable standing for extended periods. While there is no heavy lifting involved, you may need to push carts weighing up to 30 lbs every few hours. The work schedule includes an 8-hour shift, rotating every two weeks, with potential hours between 7:00 am and 7:30 pm. The initial training schedule is from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Overtime is not mandatory but may be offered based on business needs. Interaction with patients and providers is not expected initially but may occur in the future.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr.
