Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Immunizing Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will play a vital part in improving community health by administering immunizations and supporting patient care initiatives in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.
Responsibilities:
- Administer a variety of immunizations, including influenza, shingles, COVID-19, and other recommended vaccines.
- Educate patients on vaccine recommendations, benefits, and potential side effects.
- Deliver exceptional patient care while demonstrating empathy, professionalism, and compassion.
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff and healthcare professionals to support patient care programs.
- Adapt to changing healthcare needs and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.
- Maintain compliance with all pharmacy regulations, company policies, and patient safety standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Active Pharmacist license in the state of employment
- Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA)
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree
- Valid driver's license
