Position Summary

Dhaka Technologies Limited Company is hiring on behalf of its client for a Pharmacist in Charge to lead retail pharmacy operations in the Bronx, New York. The Pharmacist in Charge prepares and dispenses appropriate pharmaceuticals to patients, leads a team of pharmacy technicians, and manages the overall day to day responsibilities of the pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, verify, and dispense prescription medications accurately and in accordance with federal and New York State pharmacy regulations.
  
• Serve as the pharmacist in charge for the location, maintaining licensure, recordkeeping, and regulatory compliance.
  
• Lead, schedule, train, and supervise a team of pharmacy technicians.
  
• Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, interactions, and side effects.
  
• Manage pharmacy inventory, ordering, and controlled substance handling.
  
• Operate the pharmacy Patient Management System for prescription processing and patient records.
  
• Oversee daily workflow, prescription volume, and turnaround times to meet service standards.
  

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
  
• Current, active license to practice pharmacy in the State of New York.
  
• Minimum of 3 years of retail pharmacy manager experience.
  
• Working proficiency with a pharmacy Patient Management System.
  
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous leadership or supervisory role within a retail pharmacy setting.
  

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday, normally between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM, with a 30 minute lunch break.
