A mail order compounding pharmacy specializing in Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy is seeking a Staff Pharmacist for a contract position in Grosse Ile, MI. This unique pharmacy focuses primarily on natural products, including vitamins and supplements, offering a distinct and rewarding environment for pharmacists passionate about holistic health.
Schedule and Hours:
- Monday through Friday
- 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Three days per week (30 hours total)
Key Responsibilities: - Pulling, counting, and accurately filling pharmacy orders
- Collaborating with the pharmacy technician who manages non-sterile compounding
- Ensuring all medications dispensed meet quality standards
- Maintaining compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
Desired Qualifications: - Michigan Pharmacist license in good standing with no disciplinary actions
- Experience working in a pharmacy setting, ideally with exposure to compounding practices
- Familiarity with non-sterile compounding is a strong plus but not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently without computer-related tasks
