Responsibilities & Requirements

The Pharmacist ensures the safe, effective, and accurate preparation and dispensing of medications to support optimal patient outcomes. This role provides medication therapy management, patient education, and collaborates with healthcare professionals to promote safe medication use and regulatory compliance. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health''s mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or a Bachelor''s of Science degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institutionCompletion of pharmacy internship requirements as defined by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy.Current and active Pharmacist license issued by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy, or eligibility to obtain prior to start date. Must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications

Completion of a pharmacy residency program (PGY-1 or PGY-2) or advanced clinical pharmacy training. Experience in a hospital, long-term care, infusion, or specialty pharmacy setting with exposure to oncology Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification; Board certification in a pharmacy specialty.
