What You'll Do
- Provide expert pharmaceutical care to ICU patients in CV and Medical ICUs
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and adjust medication therapy plans
- Monitor patient responses and ensure medication safety and efficacy
- Maintain accurate documentation and medication records in EPIC system
- Support weekend coverage on a rotating basis
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, national standards, and trauma protocols
- Participate in multidisciplinary team rounds and initiatives
What You Need
Required:
- Valid Louisiana Pharmacist License
- 1+ years of inpatient critical care pharmacy experience
- Level 1 Trauma experience and PGY2 Critical Care training strongly preferred
- Proficiency in EPIC and critical care protocols
Preferred:
- Experience with weekend coverage shifts
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
