Pharmacist - | Mason, Ohio

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are seeking a Pharmacist for a 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity with a Long-Term Care Mail Order Pharmacy in Mason, Ohio.

This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist looking to transition into an LTC environment while maintaining a primarily daytime, Monday–Friday schedule. Pharmacists with LTC experience are preferred, but experienced retail pharmacists are encouraged to apply.

Schedule
Monday–Friday
8:00 AM–4:45 PM or 9:00 AM–5:45 PM
Rotating every 3rd weekend
13-week contract with intent for direct hire
Responsibilities
Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
Ensure prescriptions are dispensed safely and in accordance with applicable regulations and pharmacy policies.
Review patient medication profiles and identify potential drug interactions, allergies, duplications, or other concerns.
Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other healthcare professionals.
Provide medication-related guidance and support as needed.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with pharmacy procedures.
Support efficient daily operations within the LTC mail-order pharmacy environment.
Required Qualifications
Active Ohio Pharmacist license required.
Long-Term Care pharmacy experience is a plus, but not required.
Retail pharmacists are welcome to apply.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to medication safety.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.
