Description: Job Summary
Responsible for verifying prescriptions, overseeing pharmacy operations, and ensuring accuracy and compliance in medication fulfillment within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Verify prescription data for accuracy in pharmacy systems
Supervise pharmacy technicians and inventory staff
Perform final quality checks before medication distribution
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Manage workload, priorities, and timelines efficiently
Support quality assurance and process improvements
Work in a standing/walking environment and lift up to 25 lbs
Required Qualifications
Active Pharmacist License (New Jersey & New York)
1+ year experience as a licensed Pharmacist
Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, and Windows systems
Ability to work flexible shifts
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years Pharmacist experience (retail, hospital, or managed care)
Experience in fulfillment/mail-order pharmacy
PBM or managed care experience
