Pharmacist

Narayan Pharmacy is seeking a licensed and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our team. This role is responsible for accurately dispensing medications, ensuring patient safety, and providing knowledgeable guidance on prescription and over-the-counter products. The ideal candidate is professional, attentive, and committed to providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to the local community.

• Review, verify, and accurately dispense prescription medications
• Ensure proper dosage, check for potential drug interactions, and confirm prescription accuracy
• Counsel patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and health-related concerns
• Maintain accurate patient records and prescription documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to clarify or confirm prescription details
• Ensure compliance with all applicable pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety standards
• Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and monitoring medication supply levels
• Supervise and support pharmacy staff as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy work area
• Provide excellent customer service and address patient questions or concerns

Requirements:

• Valid pharmacist license in the state of New York
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical guidelines, drug interactions, and dosage requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage daily pharmacy operations
