Pharmacist (Part-Time)

Schedule: Monday - Friday 5:00AM - 2:00PM (Split within treatment centers)
Pay: $65-$70/hr - pay based on experience
Requirements: Active Pharm D licensure in the state of Rhode Island

What You’ll Do
Manage Documentation and Inventory
- Ensure medications are prepared, handled, documented, and distributed accurately to support safe, effective, and compassionate patient care.
- Maintain precise medication records, conduct monthly inventory reconciliations, and oversee daily pharmacy transactions to ensure continuity of care and operational excellence.
- Monitor medication inventory and proactively identify, investigate, and report discrepancies in accordance with company policies, DEA regulations, and pharmacy best practices, protecting the integrity of our patients' treatment.
Team Building
- Lead and support pharmacy technicians in the preparation of pre-dispensed methadone doses and take-home medications, fostering a culture of accuracy and patient-centered service.
- Invest in continuous learning by participating in professional development, ongoing training, and required education to strengthen clinical knowledge and improve patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Effective communication skills for phone and in-person interactions.
- Adequate vision to read correspondence and computer screens.
- Familiarity with standard medical office conditions and interactions with diverse patient populations.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Fast-paced clinical environment with period of increased activity.
- Exposure to patients with substance use disorders, mental health conditions, infectious diseases, and criminal justice involvement.
- Prolonged standing, bending, and stooping.
- Alternating between sitting and standing throughout the workday.
- Potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
- Use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
- Frequent keyboarding and computer use.
