Overview:

Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation 

Position: Pharmacist
Location: Chester, NJ 
Schedule: Per Diem (PRN)Weekdays 8am-4pm or 12-8pm as needed (or even 4 hour shifts on weekdays) Weekends 8am-5pm

Compensation: $63 + Shift Differential

Responsibilities:

As the Pharmacist, you will be responsible for:

  • Having a working knowledge of all areas of pharmaceutical services, including drug distribution systems, central operations, and IV admixture.
  • Providing clinical support of the hospital pharmacy function in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintaining adequate drug supplies at the pharmacy at all times.
  • Correctly informing and instructing patients on any drugs to be used after they are discharged.
  • Developing and participating in new employee training and education programs.
  • Participating in patient drug therapy monitoring.
  • Promoting an environment of continuous quality improvement.
Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements

  • Current state licensure as a Pharmacist required

Preferred Qualifications

  • One or more years of experience in hospital pharmacy preferred

Per Diem Requirement: Must be available to work Six (6) shifts per Six (6) week schedule; Three (3) must be on the Weekend (Saturday's or Sunday's).
