Pharmacist (Travel / Hospital & Outpatient)
Location: Peridot, AZ 85542
Pay: $2,200 – $3,100 per week (DOE)
Start Date: 04/06/2026
Contract: Through 07/04/2026 (option to extend)
Schedule: Variable shifts (Days, Nights, Swing, Weekends)

Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced Pharmacists to join a dynamic healthcare team serving the San Carlos Apache community. This role includes a mix of outpatient and inpatient/ER pharmacy coverage, requiring flexibility in scheduling and strong clinical knowledge.

Practice / Unit Details:
High-volume pharmacy (~1000 prescriptions/day)
Mix of outpatient and inpatient responsibilities
Technology-driven environment with automation
Equipment includes: ScriptPro system, Omnicell ADCs, Carousel, Kirby Lester counters
EHR: RPMS (transitioning to new system)
Strong team structure with pharmacists, technicians, clerks, and billing staff
Involved in community outreach and clinical programs (vaccine clinic, warfarin clinic)
Key Responsibilities:
Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently
Adhere to pharmacy policies and regulatory requirements
Manage and dispense controlled substances per legal standards
Counsel patients on medications and usage
Support both inpatient and outpatient pharmacy operations
Collaborate with healthcare teams across departments
Maintain current clinical knowledge and adapt to workflow needs
Schedule & Additional Info:
Variable shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends)
Must be flexible with schedule and unit needs
No call requirements
Facility allows 1 cancellation every 2 weeks
No pets allowed in housing
Requirements (Must Have):
BLS certification
Bachelor’s in Pharmacy or PharmD
Active, unrestricted Pharmacy license (AZ preferred)
Hospital experience required
Ability to work both outpatient and inpatient settings
Preferred Qualifications:
ACLS & PALS (PALS can be obtained on-site)
2+ years of clinical pharmacy experience
