Pay Rate: $3,400 – $4,400/week (Based on Experience)
Job Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to support inpatient pharmacy operations within a fast-paced healthcare environment. The Pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring safe and accurate medication dispensing, maintaining regulatory compliance, and collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and process medication orders accurately and efficiently
- Dispense medications in accordance with physician orders and pharmacy regulations
- Monitor medication therapy and identify potential drug interactions or contraindications
- Maintain accurate medication records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and quality standards
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals
- Support medication safety initiatives and quality improvement efforts
- Participate in inventory management and medication storage procedures
- Assist with sterile compounding and IV medication preparation when required
- Utilize pharmacy dispensing systems and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) platforms
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Pharmacy (PharmD preferred)
- Active New York State Pharmacist License
- Minimum one (1) year of Pharmacist experience
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, medication safety, and regulatory compliance
- Ability to work varied evening and overnight shifts
