"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a qualified Pharmacist to support inpatient pharmacy operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The Pharmacist will be responsible for medication dispensing, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Review and verify medication orders
Dispense medications accurately and safely
Monitor medication therapy and identify potential drug interactions
Maintain accurate pharmacy documentation and records
Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and quality standards
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
Support medication safety and quality improvement initiatives
Assist with sterile compounding and IV medication preparation
Utilize pharmacy dispensing systems and EMR platforms
Participate in inventory management and medication storage procedures
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Pharmacy
Active New York State Pharmacist License (NYSED)
Minimum one (1) year of Pharmacist experience
Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and medication safety
Ability to work evening and overnight shifts
Hospital or acute care pharmacy experience
Pharmacy dispensing system experience
Sterile processing experience
IV room experience
Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
Strong communication and collaboration skills
