Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a qualified Pharmacist to support inpatient pharmacy operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The Pharmacist will be responsible for medication dispensing, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.


Key Responsibilities

  • Review and verify medication orders

  • Dispense medications accurately and safely

  • Monitor medication therapy and identify potential drug interactions

  • Maintain accurate pharmacy documentation and records

  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and quality standards

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams

  • Support medication safety and quality improvement initiatives

  • Assist with sterile compounding and IV medication preparation

  • Utilize pharmacy dispensing systems and EMR platforms

  • Participate in inventory management and medication storage procedures


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Pharmacy

  • Active New York State Pharmacist License (NYSED)

  • Minimum one (1) year of Pharmacist experience

  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and medication safety

  • Ability to work evening and overnight shifts


Preferred Qualifications

  • Hospital or acute care pharmacy experience

  • Pharmacy dispensing system experience

  • Sterile processing experience

  • IV room experience

  • Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
