As a talented Pharmacist PRN, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with regulations, dispensing medications, and enhancing the patient experience. Key Responsibilities

• Dispense medications as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor patient drug therapies and advise on interventions.
• Provide patient counseling as required by law.
• Complete operational pharmacy requirements, including maintaining records and managing inventory.
• Supervise pharmacy staff and ensure adherence to legal regulations.
• Administer immunizations or vaccines as needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned within scope.

Required Skills and Abilities

• In-depth knowledge of dosage requirements and pharmaceutical brands.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and pharmacy software.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse populations.
• Collaborative team player with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Effective in handling sensitive inquiries or complaints.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or Doctorate in pharmacy or pharmacology.
• Proven experience as a pharmacist.
• Valid license to practice as a pharmacist in Texas.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

Work Environment

• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens: Level 3 (Low).
• Moderate noise level.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 25 pounds and frequent standing and talking.
