Location: Klamath Falls, OR
Specialty Medical Staffing is currently seeking experienced Retail Pharmacists for a full-time assignment in Klamath Falls, OR. This is a great opportunity for pharmacists looking for consistent hours in a well-supported retail pharmacy environment.
The assignment is expected to continue through approximately December, with 40 hours per week and 4-day workweeks. Training will be provided based on experience.
Assignment Details
Start: ASAP
Duration: Through approximately December
Schedule: 40 hours/week, typically four 10-hour shifts
Weekday Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–7:00 PM
Weekend Coverage: 1–2 weekends per month, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Training: 4–8 days based on experience
Setting: Retail Pharmacy
Travel: Travel assistance may be available for qualified candidates
Requirements
- Active Oregon Pharmacist license in good standing
- 1+ years of retail pharmacy experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a busy retail pharmacy environment
- EnterpriseRx experience preferred but not required
- ScriptPro experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Perform daily retail pharmacy operations
- Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
- Provide medication counseling and patient education
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and clerical support staff
- Support efficient prescription filling and dispensing workflows
- Assist with medication inventory and pharmacy operations
- Administer vaccinations when trained and qualified
- Maintain compliance with applicable pharmacy regulations and safety standards
