Help Deliver Exceptional Pharmacy Care Across the Continuum of Health

We are seeking a dedicated Retail Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care that supports safe, effective, and patient-centered treatment across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Our pharmacists are highly integrated members of the healthcare team, partnering with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians to optimize medication therapy and improve patient outcomes. With advanced technology, decentralized clinical practice models, and strong technician support, pharmacists spend the majority of their time focused on clinical care and patient impact.

Whether you're counseling patients, reviewing medication therapies, participating in interdisciplinary rounds, or supporting quality initiatives, you'll have the opportunity to practice at the top of your license while making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and communities.

Pay Information 

  • $60.50 - $78.91 per hour
  • $10k sign-on bonus
  • Weekend Differential is $1/hr
  • Up to $5k in relocation reimbursement (must be applicable)

What You'll Do

  • Provide pharmaceutical care services to support safe and effective medication therapy
  • Review, verify, and dispense medications in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory standards
  • Staff outpatient dispensing areas, including order entry, insurance billing, inventory management, compounding, dispensing, and patient counseling
  • Administer immunizations and support medication therapy management services as appropriate
  • Monitor and evaluate patient-specific pharmacotherapy plans
  • Provide drug information and medication-related recommendations to healthcare providers and patients
  • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate with care teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Perform medication reconciliation and other patient safety activities
  • Support anticoagulation management, pharmacokinetic dosing, nutrition support, and other clinical pharmacy services as applicable
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and professional practice standards
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, process enhancements, and operational excellence efforts
  • Precept pharmacy students and residents and assist with the training of new team members
  • Support professional education through presentations, competency programs, community outreach, or educational activities
  • Provide oversight and guidance to pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient daily operations

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Pharmacist in both Indiana and Kentucky
  • Ability to obtain required licensure within 45 days of employment
  • Strong clinical judgment and commitment to medication safety
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional growth

Preferred:

  • Hospital pharmacy experience for clinical staff pharmacist roles
  • Community pharmacy experience for pharmacists supporting outpatient dispensing operations
  • Advanced pharmacy certifications such as BCPS, BCACP, BCOP, CACP, or related specialty credentials
