How you'll contribute
Coordinates and provides pharmaceutical care for patients, collaborating with the interprofessional team to optimize safe, effective medication use. Reviews and verifies orders, manages drug therapy protocols, educates staff/patients, and supports quality and regulatory standards. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.
What we're looking for
Education: Doctor of Pharmacy.
License: Current license with the state Board of Pharmacy.
Certifications: BCLS required; ACLS preferred.
Skills: Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in stressful environments. Rapid learning and navigation of multiple pharmacy/clinical software systems. Effective English communication (read, write, speak, and understand). Ability to complete the Skills Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire.

Patient Populations Served: Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult. Protected Health Information Accessed: Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record. Exposure: Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens may be present. Physical Requirements (typical): Frequent standing, walking, sitting, keyboard entry, reaching, and repetitive hand/arm movements; occasional kneeling and squatting; light to moderate non-patient lifting/pushing/pulling as needed. Occasional biological and rare chemical exposures may occur.
