A healthcare facility in Springfield, MO is seeking four pharmacists to support its central pharmacy operations on various shifts. This opportunity offers a 13-week contract with a strong possibility of extension, presenting an excellent chance for pharmacists with at least one year of experience as well as new graduates. Missouri Pharmacist licensure is required.

The primary responsibility is to verify and check medications using EPIC dispense prep software, including kits, crash carts, prepackaged items, IVs, creams, and insulin pens. The pharmacist will coordinate workflow centrally, ensuring medication products are accurately checked and code carts are properly restocked. This role involves overseeing the pharmacy technicians' workflow and occasionally redirecting tasks but does not include direct supervisory responsibilities.
Pharmacists in this role will join a team consisting of five pharmacists and ten technicians during the day shift, and two pharmacists with five to six technicians on the evening shift. Training on product verification processes will last 2 to 3 weeks, adjusted to the pharmacist's capability.
