Provide leadership and supervision for daily pharmacy operations.
Supervise and support Pharmacy Technicians and pharmacy staff.
Ensure medications are prepared, dispensed, and distributed accurately and safely.
Maintain compliance with professional, regulatory, organizational, and governmental pharmacy standards.
Oversee medication purchasing, inventory management, and pharmaceutical availability.
Support safe and compliant management of controlled substances.
Monitor pharmacy workflow and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and patient service.
Develop, implement, and evaluate departmental policies and procedures.
Participate in quality-improvement and pharmacy-safety initiatives.
Support pharmacy information and medication-dispensing systems.
Provide staff coaching, training, feedback, and professional development.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, technicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Participate in orientation, continuing education, and competency programs.
Assist with operational reporting and identify areas requiring improvement or corrective action.
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and/or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited school
PharmD preferred
PGY1 / one-year pharmacy residency preferred
Current, active, unrestricted Pharmacist license required
Arizona Pharmacist license preferred
Hospital pharmacy experience required
Previous experience supervising Pharmacy Technicians required
Strong pharmacy operations and leadership experience
BLS required or must be obtained within the required onboarding period
Immunization/vaccine administration credentials preferred
Must be able to successfully complete required background and drug screening
Must have a clean professional standing with no disciplinary issues

3+ years of Pharmacist experience
Hospital pharmacy experience
Previous supervisory experience over Pharmacy Technicians
Candidates with 5 years of professional experience and 2 years of management experience will align most closely with the stated leadership qualifications
