Pharmacist

Salary: $50-$65/hr

What your future day will look like:

• Review and verify prescriptions, ensuring accuracy, patient safety, and compliance with pharmacy regulations before dispensing medications.
• Provide patient-centered care by counseling individuals on medication use, potential side effects, and strategies to improve treatment outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy and address medication-related concerns.
• Oversee pharmacy operations by managing inventory, maintaining accurate records, supervising support staff, and ensuring a safe, efficient work environment.
• Support quality patient care by monitoring medication therapy, administering clinical services (where applicable), and staying current with best practices in pharmacy.

To be a champion in this role, you will need:

• Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication therapy management, and pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Proficiency with pharmacy management systems and electronic health records (EHR), as applicable.
