Pay Rate: $79 – $80/hr
Estimated Weekly Pay:$3,160 – $3,200/week(40 hrs/week)

Job Summary

Provide inpatient pharmacy services including medication order verification, clinical medication review, medication safety monitoring, drug information support, and collaboration with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes in an acute care hospital setting.

Requirements

• Active California Pharmacist License

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy

• Minimum 1 year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience preferred

• EPIC experience required

• Experience with clinical pharmacy services and medication order verification

• Ability to work variable shifts, weekends, and on-call coverage as assigned

Required Credentials

• California Pharmacist License – Required

• PharmD – Preferred

• All state-required pharmacist credentials and registrations

Preferred Experience

• Inpatient Clinical Pharmacy

• Medication Therapy Management

• IV Compounding

• Acute Care Hospital Pharmacy

Facility Details

• 122-Bed Acute Care Hospital

• EMR: Cerner

• EPIC Backfill Assignment – EPIC experience required

• 3 Pharmacists and 3 Pharmacy Technicians per shift

• Orientation is fully billable

• Facility call-offs are billable

Schedule Details

• Pharmacy Hours:

  • Monday–Friday: 6:00 AM – 9:00 PM

  • Saturday–Sunday: 6:00 AM – 8:00 PM

• Weekend coverage required (up to every other weekend)

• Closing pharmacist participates in on-call coverage until pharmacy reopens
