Pharmacist - Travel Job

We're hiring a licensed pharmacist for a contract position where you’ll use your clinical expertise to ensure the safe and thoughtful distribution of medications to individuals navigating a range of physical and mental health challenges.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have State License to Apply
• 6 months Pharmacist experience preferred
• Active Arkansas pharmacist license required
• CPR or ACLS required

Assignment Details:

• Coverage hours: Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Friday 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
• Schedule: 2 to 3 days per week
• Schedule flexibility: coverage days can be adjusted in coordination with the director of pharmacy
• Weekend requirement: none
• On-call requirement: none
• Orientation: 2 to 3 days prior to start
• Order entry system: Medhost, with onsite training available
• Site automation: Pyxis ES, no prior experience required
• Practice setting: acute care hospital with med-surg, ICU, and women’s health services
• Responsibilities include order verification, IV compounding, and oversight of technicians
• Dress code: ceil blue scrubs or business casual
