QUALIFICATIONS

PHARMACIST | REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required.
  • Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
  • Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of North Carolina.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, medication therapy management, and patient counseling.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Reliable attendance, including during the initial training period.

RESPONSIBILITIES

PHARMACIST | RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review, verify, and accurately dispense prescription medications. 
  • Monitor medication therapy for safety, effectiveness, drug interactions, and patient compliance. 
  • Counsel patients on prescription and over-the-counter medications, including proper use, storage, dosage, and potential side effects. 
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to resolve medication-related concerns. 
  • Compound medications and prepare sterile products according to established procedures when required. 
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and pharmacy documentation. 
  • Oversee pharmaceutical inventory and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. 
  • Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and other pharmacy personnel. 
  • Assist patients with health education and medication-related services when appropriate.

PHARMACIST | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

  • Location: Washington NC 27889 – 100% on-site
  • Payrate: $64.27/hr
  • Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday - Friday

The Pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medications, providing clinical guidance to patients and healthcare providers, supervising pharmacy support staff, and maintaining compliance with all applicable pharmacy regulations.   • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
