Pharmacovigilance Delivery & Client Engagement (ONSITE)
Summary Cognizant is seeking a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in the BPO and Pharmaceutical industries, including at least 7 years in a leadership role. The ideal candidate will bring deep Pharmacovigilance expertise, strong client management capabilities, and a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.

Operational Responsibilities Manage onsite relationships with client sponsors, leadership, and key stakeholders. Oversee onsite delivery and execution of the client's Pharmacovigilance project. Supervise project activities such as Medical Review and Medical Safety, as applicable. Ensure engagement goals align with the client's strategic objectives. Deliver the engagement within agreed cost, schedule, quality, and scope. Maintain governance and communication plans, serving as the primary liaison between client and Cognizant teams. Facilitate timely resolution of escalated issues. Review and validate project improvements and benefit realization. Review project accounting and financial documentation. Evaluate lessons learned and post-project reports to drive continuous improvement. Provide ad-hoc support for Medical Review and Medical Safety activities as requested. Contribute to Cognizant capability development initiatives as needed.
Performance Standards • Achievement of critical service-level metrics • Effective management of client escalations • Design and implementation of KPI measurement systems, dashboards, and controls to sustain and improve performance • Attrition management and team stability
Education and Experience Requirements • Graduate, Postgraduate, or Doctorate degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medical Sciences, or a related field • 15+ years of experience in BPS (International), CRO, and the Pharmaceutical industry • At least 7 years of experience in a leadership role
Salary and Other Compensation The salary for this position is between $130,000 - $165,000k depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
