How you'll make an impact in this role

Provide distributive pharmacy services and technical support for the Pharmacist prior to receiving certification.

• Refill and maintain automated dispensing systems.
• Prepare orders and maintain inventory for the Pharmacy department.
• Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounds.
• Repackage bulk medications.
• Receive and store incoming supplies.
• Triage incoming calls and serve as a liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professionals by providing information.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• One or more of the following required:
• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Registered Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Florida Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience. OR Associate''s degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
