Overview:

The Pharmacy Audit Coordinator plays a key role within the Pharmacy Audit Team, supporting the successful execution of prescription drug claim audits and related special projects. This position is responsible for managing day-to-day audit logistics and ensuring projects progress efficiently from kickoff through completion.

 

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills, along with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing. The Pharmacy Audit Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for audit clients, third-party administrators, and Gallagher Producers/Pharmacy Consultants throughout each engagement. Prior experience working with external clients or vendors is preferred.

How you'll make an impact:

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage prescription drug claim audits from implementation through closure
  • Establish and maintain project codes
  • Support various Data Warehouse initiatives
  • Perform eligibility reconciliation audits and eligibility reviews
  • Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring expectations, timelines, and deliverables are met
  • Maintain accurate tracking of all audits and projects within designated system

Additional duties:

  • Collaborate with the Pharmacy Audit Team to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met
  • Schedule, prepare materials for, and participate in client and administrator meetings
  • Prepare and distribute meeting minutes, as needed
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of audit reports with minimal supervision
  • Provide timely bi-weekly client status updates
  • Deliver weekly project status updates to management and the audit team

This position reports to the Director of Pharmacy Audit.

About you:
  • 1–2 years of project management and/or audit experience
  • Pharmacy or PBM experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Professional, personable demeanor with a positive and confident communication style
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands while maintaining focus
Compensation and benefits:

The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
