Pharmacy Automation Coordinator

Job Summary and Responsibilities

• As our Pharmacy Automation Coordinator, you will help staff manage controlled substance inventory and resolve issues with the automated medication distribution system so they can ensure continuous quality and compliance.
• Every day you will oversee the controlled substance inventory, which may include monitoring usage and investigating discrepancies.
• You will be expected to serve as the hospital subject matter expert and the liaison between automated dispensing cabinets and Nursing for problem resolution.
• To be successful in this role, you must provide orientation and training to staff and maintain accountability for all legal records associated with controlled substances.

Job Requirements

Required

• High School Graduate, upon hire and
• Two (2) years of recent pharmacy experience in a hospital setting or equivalent
• Pharmacy Technician AZ (PHARMTECH:AZ)
