Green Tree Pharmacy is a long term care pharmacy located in Minonk, IL, which currently serves almost 100 long term care facilities. As we continue to expand our services, we are in need of a Billing Technician. This position will have responsibilities involving the billing of prescriptions.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer calls from residents and or/facilities with questions about billing statements and insurance coverage. Process Payments.
  • Adjudication from Medicare Part D plans and Illinois department of Public Aid.
  • Review and update patient profile demographics and correct census changes.
  • Place calls to doctors' office and facilities, and submit paperwork for prior authorizations, and alternative drug choices.
  • Process monthly Account Payable invoices
  • Order Entry for Account Receivable Invoices
  • Complete post consumption billing for ALF each month.

Qualifications:

  • Pharmacy background is helpful, but we will train the right person
  • Must be dependable
  • Must have a strong ability to communicate in a professional manner with customers
  • Must have initiative to complete tasks and provide proactive, critical thinking
  • Must have High School Diploma or G.E.D.
