A-Line Staffing is now hiring Pharmacy Technician (Call Center) in onsite roles supporting pharmacy operations in a high-volume specialty pharmacy environment. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.

PHARMACY TECHNICIAN (CALL CENTER) PAY & COMPENSATION

  • The pay for this position is $22.00 per hour.
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.

PHARMACY TECHNICIAN (CALL CENTER) HIGHLIGHTS

  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs.
  • The required availability for this position is Monday – Friday, 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM, onsite during training and initial employment period. Training is conducted onsite from 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Possible rotating Saturdays approximately once per month with a weekday off. Hybrid eligibility may be available after 90–120 days based on metrics and attendance performance.


PHARMACY TECHNICIAN (CALL CENTER) RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handle inbound and outbound pharmacy-related calls including prescription status, refill requests, and medication delivery coordination
  • Schedule medication refills and ensure accurate patient profile updates within pharmacy systems
  • Verify insurance information and assist with claims-related inquiries
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in pharmacy management systems
  • Route clinical questions, adverse events, and product complaints to pharmacists or nursing staff
  • Provide professional, empathetic customer service to patients and healthcare providers
  • Support pharmacy workflow by reducing call volume interruptions to operational teams
  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy procedures, documentation standards, and quality expectations


PHARMACY TECHNICIAN (CALL CENTER) REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 year of call center or customer service experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work onsite full-time during training and initial employment period
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Professional telephone communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy in patient interactions
  • Reliable transportation
  • Cell phone required for daily system authentication/login
  • Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days.


PHARMACY TECHNICIAN (CALL CENTER) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate degree preferred
  • Pharmacy technician experience or healthcare call center experience
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Experience with insurance verification or medical claims
  • Prior experience in pharmacy operations or specialty pharmacy support
