Pharmacy Clerk

Newtown Square Pharmacy is a family-owned pharmacy in Aiea, Hawaii dedicated to providing the highest quality medications since 1994. We provide stellar patient care and foster long-term provider partnerships with an emphasis on successful treatment outcomes, medication adherence, and dynamic medication regimens.

Newtown Square Pharmacy is in search of an enthusiastic Pharmacy Clerk to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitating medication distribution to patient for pick-up or delivery
• Processing and collecting payments
• Operating register
• Providing high quality customer service to patients and providers and protecting patient confidentiality.
• Answering telephones, correctly identifying and routing patient calls.
• Placing reminder calls to patients
• Filing, packaging and meeting fast-paced deadlines
• Performing efficient computer data entry of prescription information,
• Maintaining a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Preparing reports by collecting and summarizing information.
• Contributing to team effort and willingness to be flexible to support dynamic needs of a growing company.

Required Qualifications:

• Driver’s license valid in the State of Hawaii
• Possess and maintain acceptable driving record
• High School Diploma or GED Certification
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ease in using technology for communication, record keeping and management of data
• Experience in a fast-paced working environment
