Pharmacy Clerk - First Shift

Job Title: Pharmacy Material Handler (Day Shift)

Job Description

This role involves supporting the pharmacy with material handling duties, ensuring efficient packing and shipping of products according to Standard Operating Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Properly pack products as required by Standard Operating Procedures.
• Prepare shipments for carrier pickup.
• Ensure all production supplies are fully stocked at all times.
• Create or fix any shipping labels as needed.
• Bring packages to shipping, mail, and courier as needed.
• Receive various goods throughout the day.
• Learn functions related to commercial courier and shipping systems.
• Ensure adequate stock of gel packs, ice, and ambient materials for appropriate packaging of daily shipments.
• Empty trash as needed.

Essential Skills

• Experience in pharmacy or warehouse inventory management.
• Customer service skills.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician Certification/Registration preferred but not required.

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with occasional overtime as needed.

This is a Contract position based out of Fairfield, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
