Job Description:
Summary
The Pharmacy Courier is the face of the pharmacy outside of our walls. The courier is responsible for delivering medications and collecting payments for pharmacy customers.
Education and/or experience
High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
Valid Driver's License in good standing.
Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Assist customers by answering simple questions or referring them to the pharmacist for all medication information.
Process orders for home delivery, including calling to verify that the patient will be available to accept order and relaying price of medication(s).
Utilize pharmacy software to process and complete deliveries.
Maintain accurate accounting of monies received for deliveries and reconcile monies with pharmacy software reports daily.
Safely operate a motor vehicle and monitor for basic maintenance needs.
