Minimum Qualifications:
B.S. or Pharm D. degree from an ACPE accredited school of Pharmacy
Considerable knowledge of field
Proven leadership skills
Considerable knowledge of management principles
Well-developed communications skills, both oral and written
Proven leadership skills
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Licensed and in good standing with the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy OR license eligible (Permanent license will be required within six months of entry into the job)
Desired Qualifications:
- MBA or equivalent in business or MS in Hospital Pharmacy
- Working knowledge of management in a similar clinical setting
- Consulting licensure
Directs the overall operations of the Pharmacy department in order to provide defined patient care services which meet IHS's standards of quality, efficiency and desired outcomes.
