Our specialty pharmacy in Louisville, KY has a need for a Pharmacy Fulfillment Manager! This is an onsite role. Onco360 Pharmacy is a unique oncology pharmacy model created to serve the needs of community, oncology and hematology physicians, patients, payers, and manufacturers. 
 
Schedule: Monday - Friday  - 9am - 5:30pm EST  
Salary range starting at $150k + depending on experience. 
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 for employees starting before August 31, 2026.

The Pharmacy Fulfillment Manager will provide pharmaceutical services to oncology patients in a manner that maximizes quality and patient safety. The Pharmacy Fulfillment Manager will participate in and oversees the dispensing of medication in accordance with federal and state regulations. The Pharmacy Fulfillment Manager will manage and monitor all aspects of fulfillment, this will include but not limited to, prescription pulling and filling to verification and packaging. The Pharmacy Fulfillment Manager works closely with their supervisors to review the staff’s metrics and conduct coaching and counseling when needed. The Pharmacy Fulfillment Manager will be responsible for inventory related tasks and dispensing accuracy of the team. 

Pharmacist Major Responsibilities: 
  • Provides leadership and overall accountability for fulfillment operations, ensuring workflow efficiency, dispensing accuracy, and regulatory compliance across assigned functional areas.
    • Oversees daily fulfillment performance, proactively identifying operational risks, bottlenecks, and productivity gaps, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
    • Directly manages Pharmacy Fulfillment Supervisors and/or pharmacy staff, including performance management, workload prioritization, staffing alignment, and professional development.
    • Establishes performance expectations and monitors operational metrics, ensuring team productivity, quality standards, and service-level objectives are consistently achieved.
    • Leads coaching, counseling, and performance improvement efforts, partnering with pharmacy leadership and Human Resources on disciplinary actions when necessary.
    • Drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflow optimization, patient safety, dispensing accuracy, and overall operational efficiency.
    • Collaborates with the Pharmacy Director and/or Pharmacy Supervisor to develop staffing strategies, workload balancing, and resource planning aligned with business needs.
    • Ensures consistent adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, reinforcing compliance with federal and state laws, USP standards, and company SOPs.
    • Provides oversight of inventory management processes, ensuring appropriate stock levels, accuracy, rotation practices, and timely resolution of discrepancies.
    • Partners with Purchasing, Operations, and Clinical teams to address inventory challenges, out-of-stocks, and supply chain concerns.
    • Oversees quality and safety practices within fulfillment operations, including error prevention, documentation integrity, and process standardization.
    • Ensures proper investigation, documentation, and escalation of medication-related incidents, operational deviations, and compliance concerns.
    • Supports onboarding, training, and development strategies to ensure staff competency, consistency, and operational readiness.
    • Promotes a culture of accountability, engagement, collaboration, and operational excellence across the fulfillment team.
    • Maintains responsibility for operational decision-making, prioritization, and issue resolution within assigned areas.
    • The Fulfillment Manager will directly oversee all physical inventory counts and be responsible for the accuracy of counts/recounts. Discrepancies must be resolved and/or justified within acceptable thresholds prior to completion. 
    • Performs other leadership-related duties as required. 
Pharmacist Job Requirements:
Education/Learning Experience
  • Required:  Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy
  • Desired:  Pharm D preferred
Work Experience
  • Required:  1+ experience in pharmacy setting
  • Preferred: One year experience in specialty pharmacy preferred
Skills/Knowledge
  • Required:  Knowledge of pharmacy laws and federal and state regulations. Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team. Extensive experience working in CPR+. Effective communication, problem-solving, and professional decision-making skills.
  • Desired:  Previous leadership experience, competency with various Microsoft platforms (Excel, Word, Outlook), Ability to analyze performance data, identify trends, and implement improvements.
Licenses/Certifications 
  • Required:  Current license in the state of practice
  • Desired: Ideal candidates will have multi-state licenses
