Join our team as a Clinical Service Center (CSC) Pharmacist Grad Intern, supporting long-term care pharmacy operations while working under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. In this role, you will assist with clinical claim reviews, formulary alternative recommendations, rejected claims resolution, and Automatic Therapeutic Interchange (ATI) processes to support quality patient care and operational excellence. This position provides valuable hands-on experience for PharmD graduates actively working toward pharmacist licensure in a collaborative LTC pharmacy environment, with the opportunity to transition into a Pharmacist role upon successful licensure.
Location: Remote after completion of 8 weeks of onsite training at 962 Dorset Rd, Troy, OH 45373. Candidate must reside within a commutable distance of the office to accommodate occasional onsite visits as needed.
Salary: $55,000
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 1:30PM - 11:00PM and every 8th weekend (Sat-Sun 8:00AM – 6:00PM)
Training: 8 weeks onsite Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with clinical claim reject reviews and identify clinically appropriate formulary alternatives under pharmacist supervision
- Support preparation and organization of documentation for prior authorizations and ATI recommendations for pharmacist approval
- Collaborate with CSC Technicians, pharmacists, and other departments to support daily workflow, quality, and service goals
- Communicate with insurance plans, customers, and internal pharmacy staff to help resolve rejected clinical claims with pharmacist oversight
- Maintain accurate documentation related to ATI recommendations and claims management
- Support customer service initiatives and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Participate in operational improvement initiatives, special projects, and department-supported programs
- Adhere to Clarest’s Code of Conduct, follow compliance policies and procedures, and report any suspected violations of federal or state laws to leadership, Human Resources, or the Compliance Officer
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited college or school of pharmacy required
- Must be eligible for pharmacist licensure and actively working toward pharmacist licensure in the state of Ohio
- Previous pharmacy, healthcare, or long-term care experience preferred
- Exposure to formulary management, clinical review, or Medicare Part D preferred
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
