Greet patients in a prompt, pleasant, and helpful manner and provide any necessary instructions/directions. ? Receive and process prescriptions. ? Processes (corrects and resubmits) third party claims in a timely and efficient manner. ? Assists and supports Pharmacy Department on inventory management activities . ? Help facilitate the day -to-day activities of the 340B program . ? Provides immunizations to patients when appropriate. ? Maintain compliance standards in accordance with the compliance policies and code -of-conduct. Report compliance problems appropriately. ? Answers drug information questions from patients and providers under the supervision of a pharmacist. ? Counsels patients on the use of their medications and devices under the supervision of a pharmacist. Requirements: Demonstrates a working knowledge of medical theory and practice to evaluate and provide patient care. Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyzes information skillfully. understands the importance of compliance standards and pays close attention to accuracy and detail when performing duties. Education Requirements : Enrolled into an ACPE accredited school or college of pharmacy High School Diploma or GED /HSE Experience Five (5) years of community pharmacy experience preferred. Licensure/Certification Possession of an Indiana State Pharmacy Intern license. Certificate of Immunization Training . Interested?
