The Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Manager works closely with the Ambulatory Care Assistant Chief to establish and execute strategy for the Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Primary Care Services, Anticoagulation, and Population Health. This includes identifying areas of improvement, opportunities for development of new innovative services, mitigation of emerging threats, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational effectiveness/efficiency. The Ambulatory Manager of Primary Care is well versed in all applicable accrediting agency requirements including but not limited to The Joint Commission, Board ofPharmacy, and other accreditations as needed. This manager serves as the primary leader who oversees all Primary Care Services. These include but are not limited to pharmacists in clinic, technicians supporting the pharmacists and the financial assistance program (including prescription capture programs) and other programs as they arise. This Manager oversees the team's participation in population health initiatives relevant to Primary Care at UC Davis and UCOP. This leader works with the Assistant Chief to drive strategy for primary care services and help grow the pharmacy enterprise. This leader also works closely with the Assistant Chief of Specialty and the Managers of outpatient retail to help drive revenue and prescription capture. #CA-DS
