Reporting to a Regional Director of Pharmacyâ€"Infusion Operations at UCLA Health, the Pharmacy Manager â€" Ambulatory Infusion Operations provides operational oversight for multiple Ambulatory Infusion Pharmacy sites within an assigned region. The role serves as the Designated Person or Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) for assigned locations and ensures the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of IV rooms in accordance with all applicable regulations and guidelines.
You will manage a team of pharmacists and technicians, providing leadership, support, training, and guidance to ensure optimal performance. In addition, you will develop and implement policies and procedures to support the accurate and timely preparation and delivery of medications to patients. Responsibilities also include monitoring and maintaining inventory levels of medications and supplies and conducting regular audits and inspections of IV rooms to ensure adherence to regulations and internal standard operating procedures. The position also addresses and resolves patient or staff complaints and concerns related to IV room operations while collaborating with other departments and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and resolve operational issues.

Annual Salary Range: $144,400 - $341,800 (Commensurate with experience and aligned with internal equity)
