Job Details

The Pharmacy Manager / Pharmacist in Charge will lead day-to-day operations for a clinic-owned in-house pharmacy in Winter Haven, Florida.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily pharmacy operations, staffing, scheduling, workflow, accuracy, productivity, and customer service.
• Fill and dispense prescriptions in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Provide medication counseling, therapy management, reconciliation, and patient education.
• Collaborate with providers to address interactions and other medication-related concerns.
• Support benefits investigations, financial-assistance options, claim rejection resolution, and medication access.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and consistent pharmacy standards.
• Review performance indicators and implement improvements with Alchemy’s central operations team.
• Build strong relationships with clinic providers, administrators, case managers, patients, and community partners.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited university.
• Active Florida pharmacist license in good standing.
• Experience using BestRx pharmacy software.
• Strong leadership, customer-service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.

Highly preferred:

• At least one year of full-time Pharmacist in Charge experience in a retail or clinic pharmacy.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems, 340B programs, HIV pharmacy care, and culturally responsive care for LGBTQ+ communities.
• Spanish bilingual proficiency.
