We are seeking a dedicated professional to oversee the clinical and operational functions of our infusion pharmacy, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. This position requires a balance of strategic leadership and hands-on involvement in patient care, sterile compounding supervision, and team coordination. You will be the primary link to the Board of Pharmacy and will maintain our commitment to exceptional patient care and operational excellence.
**Core Responsibilities:**
1. **Regulatory Oversight:**
- Act as the main point of contact regarding pharmacy compliance.
- Oversee alignment with USP and standards.
- Manage pharmacy licensing and lead audit preparations.
2. **Clinical Expertise:**
- Perform detailed reviews and verifications for infusion medications.
- Evaluate individualized patient information and provide counseling.
- Work alongside healthcare providers to optimize treatment outcomes.
3. **Compounding and Operations:**
- Manage sterile compounding procedures and ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Coordinate pharmacy operations from order intake to medication delivery.
4. **Coordination and Support:**
- Collaborate with the intake team on benefits and prior authorizations.
- Foster relationships with medical staff to expedite treatment initiation.
5. **Inventory and Financial Management:**
- Supervise high-value drug inventories.
- Address supply challenges and support financial strategies.
**Qualifications:**
- PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree.
- Valid state pharmacist license.
- At least 2 years of experience in a relevant pharmacy setting.
- Strong foundation in sterile compounding and regulatory knowledge.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
